Field Trip!
Today we visited the Buffalo Botanical Gardens! http://www.buffalogardens.com/
The children learned about types of plants, different foods that are plants, seeds, and when I asked them the best part there were so many "favorite" things they couldn't choose!
Here we learned about different grains and the many foods that we eat that contain grains.
We loved exploring the many different plant houses

The Koi ponds were a definite favorite.
Here we learned about various fruits and the best part was squeezing our very own orange juice!
In the vegetable room we learned about eating different parts of plants, including roots and stems!
